The Godley Lady Cats and Alvarado Lady Indians saw their respective seasons come to an end Monday night in Class 4A bi-district action.

Alvarado fell to No. 18 Lorena in straight sets, 25-12, 25-14 and 25-9, in West. Alvarado's season ends at 15-26 while Lorena improved to 30-11 and will advance to the area playoffs.

Godley had a tough draw in the opening round of the playoffs, facing the defending state champion Decatur Lady Eagles, who finished second in their district.

Decatur was too much for Godley in a 25-13, 25-15 and 25-9 victory at Saginaw High School. The Lady Cats end their season at 23-18 while Decatur improved to 30-13 and moves on to the area round.
