Much like what happened two weeks ago, the Johnson County baseball and softball schedule was scrapped Tuesday.
In some cases, the games might not be played until Thursday at the earliest.
The Cleburne softball game at Mineral Wells was rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
Cleburne’s baseball team was scheduled to host Crowley on Tuesday, but the game was moved to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Meet the Jackets Night will go on as planned. Coaches and players are scheduled to be available for autographs after the game.
Joshua was scheduled to host Stephenville, and Alvarado was to play Aledo at home in District 8-4A games. Godley was to face Cisco.
Though the Rio Vista baseball team wasn’t scheduled to play a game Tuesday, the Eagles had a Home Run Derby fundraiser canceled because of the weather. It has been moved to 10:30 a.m. Monday.
But the rain didn’t affect only Johnson County game sites, as the area’s softball teams were unable to play.
In addition to Cleburne’s game at Mineral Wells, Joshua was scheduled to play at Crowley and Alvarado was set to play in Stephenville, but those games were canceled.
