Anyone is welcome to submit a letter to the editor or guest column. However, there are a few guidelines to follow:• Submissions should be signed and include a daytime telephone number where the writer may be reached.• Letters should be 400 words or less. Guest columns should be no more than 800 words. Longer submissions may not be considered for publication or may be edited for length.• Only one letter per month per person is allowed.• Submissions should be in the Times-Review office by noon Thursday to be considered for inclusion in the following Sunday’s Opinion section.• Editor reserves the right to edit for content as well as length, unless the writer includes notation that the submission must be published as is or not at all. In such cases the letter will not be considered for publication. The Times-Review does not guarantee publication of any submission.• Letters of endorsement are allowed during election season. Negative attacks on a candidate will not be published.• Opinions expressed in our Opinion section are not necessarily those of Times-Review management or staff. Inclusion signals neither agreement nor approval.
