A rare double win in the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce’s Citizen of the Year Award made history, chamber member Judy Patton walked away with four awards and chamber officials reflected on challenges overcome and those ahead during Thursday night’s Cleburne Chamber of Commerce Community Awards Celebration, which marked the event’s 102nd annual edition.


Several area business owners joined Cleburne Chamber of Commerce President Tara Janszen and Cleburne Economic Development Foundation Executive Director Jerry Cash on Tuesday at the chamber for a roundtable discussion with U.S. Rep. Roger Williams, R-Austin.


Cleburnites are encouraged to shop local this holiday season, and a special contest will provide incentive for that. The Shop, Eat, Repeat contest, being sponsored by the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce, will give one lucky resident with a $1,000 holiday shopping spree.

In a unanimous vote on Wednesday evening, the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce executive board chose Tara Janszen as the next leader for the chamber.
