Every year around April, the Cleburne Animal Shelter almost always reaches capacity for cats and dogs. Because of COVID-19, the shelter could stay at capacity for awhile.

A call for action went out to Cleburne Animal Services and other shelters in North Texas late Thursday night from a shelter near the Texas coast where a hurricane gaining strength in the Gulf of Mexico was predicted to bring heavy rains and the potential for dangerous flooding.
