STOP Special Crimes Unit investigators arrested Angela Michelle Stark, 49, of Cleburne, on Sept. 30 following a warrant service on multiple drug-related charges.
The deputy transporting Stark to the Johnson County Jail asked Stark if she had any illegal drugs or items on her person, according to reports and told Stark, “she should let her know before entering the correctional facility due to it being another charge upon entering the correctional facility.”
Stark told the deputy she had nothing on her person, according to reports.
During a search of her person, an officer found a clear plastic bag containing an off white crystal like substance in the left portion of Stark’s bra, according to reports. Stark admitted that the substance was methamphetamine, according to reports.
The officer also found a “yellow-tinted zip top style baggie that contained residue of methamphetamine” in Stark’s bra. Also located was a blue-tinted zip top style baggie containing a green leafy substance that Stark later admitted was marijuana, according to reports.
Officers added two counts of prohibited substance in a correctional facility to Stark’s original seven charges, which include three counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, tampering with evidence and manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
McBroom set Stark’s bonds at $140,000.
