The year 2021 is a big year — it’s Meals on Wheels' 45th anniversary.

Meals on Wheels North Central Texas is hosting its 34th annual golf benefit on Thursday at Cleburne Golf Links.

"Our home-delivered meals continue to help keep seniors in their homes, where they truly want to be," MOW Executive Director Christine Hockin-Boyd said. "Our program offers so much more than just a nutritious meal by also delivering socialization, safety checks and connections to other services throughout Johnson, Ellis and Navarro counties."

Plans include a golf ball drop, shoot-outs, hole in ones and other contests throughout the day.

"This year, we anticipate over 300 players and volunteers for a fun-filled day on the golf course," MOW Development Director Lisa Deese said. "All look forward to the Golf Benefit because they know they will enjoy a great day, but more importantly, they will be helping their homebound senior neighbors."

Exclusive partnership opportunities are available.
