The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office arrested a sex offender on Tuesday after he moved to Joshua without notifying Kerr County officials.
Ryan Lee Moore, 29, was arrested on two counts of failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
According to a press release from the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office, Moore failed to report a change in job status when he quit working at a restaurant.
When investigators attempted to locate Moore, they discovered he was not living at the address he reported.
Further investigation revealed that Moore moved to a home in the 4100 block of Black Forest Trail in Joshua without reporting to Kerr County or registering in Joshua.
In 2008, Moore was sentenced to 10 years in prison for aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child. The victim was a 7-year-old girl.
Moore was arrested Tuesday and transported to the Kerr County Detention Center and a judge set a bond of $10,000 on each county.
According to the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry, Moore has also used the name Kyle Adam Gregory.
