Cleburne police are seeking information on a Wednesday death.

Police at 1:53 a.m. Monday responded to the 1700 block of Raylene Drive on a disturbance call. Upon arrival they located a man unresponsive and not breathing. Officers provided medical assistance to the man until Cleburne firefighters arrived. 

Firefighters transported the man to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne. The man was subsequently transported to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, where he was pronounced dead at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s website identifies the man as Phillip Scott Ellis, 35, of Cleburne. Details on the cause of Ellis’ death have not been released.

Police on Thursday said it is unclear who made the disturbance call.

Police believe the incident leading to Ellis’ death began about 7 p.m. Saturday in the Nolan River Mall parking lot at 1663 W. Henderson St.
