Earlier this month, the Nuece County Sheriff’s Office listed its Top 10 most wanted list for assault.
A task force with the U.S. Marshals on Friday were able to cross one man off the list after arresting him at a home the 900 block of Outland Place in Burleson.
According to reports, Noe Recio, 41, of Corpus Christi was wanted on failure to appear on charges of aggravated assault impeding breath/circulation, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault causing bodily injury and aggravated sexual assault.
Recio, who uses a wheelchair, was arrested at The Palace Men’s Club in Corpus Christi for allegedly throwing glass bottles at a female dancer, according to reports.
Recio was again arrested in 2017 after allegedly hitting a woman with his vehicle outside The Cabaret Men’s Club in Corpus Christi.
Police responded to the scene where people were running in the parking lot. According to reports, police found broken glass and handgun casings on the ground.
A 23-year-old man was outside of the club holding his side and a 29-year-old woman was inside the club with road rash on her back and other parts of her body. The injured people told police they were hit by a moving vehicle.
Witnesses at the scene told police there was a fight inside the club that moved outside, into the parking lot. The injured man told police a man driving a Cadillac Escalade drove out of the parking lot and came back to hit them with his vehicle.
Police were able to locate the vehicle, and arrested Recio, who was the driver. A judge set his bond at $150,000
In 2018, Recio was arrested on two counts of sexual assault, aggravated assault impeding breath/circulation and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
It has not been made clear if Recio was living in Burleson at the time of his arrest on Friday, or just visiting the area.
Officers booked Recio into the Tarrant County Jail where he is expected to be transferred back to Nueces County.
