Fifteen 4-H and FFA members were recently named winners in this year’s Johnson County Livestock and Agriculture Association’s sweepstakes event.

The young agriculture students will be able to use the $350 certificates each received to purchase an animal project and exhibit at the 2020 Johnson County Junior Livestock Show and Youth Fair in January.

The winners applied for the award based on their interest in agriculture and desire to work hard for success. The members were selected by their 4-H club leaders and FFA advisors to participate in a sweepstakes drawing.

United Cooperative Services and Pinnacle Bank served as the title sponsor of the event by serving the sweepstakes winners and a dinner at the annual sweepstakes award ceremony.

The students included Trinity Peacock, Makenzie McKneeley and Jacob Comeaux of Burleson FFA; Ryan Contino, Emily Duello, Lauren Duke and Nakaia Codie of Burleson Centennial FFA; Damiyon Stevens, Daniel Smith and Cody Ford of Godley FFA; Danielle Bernard, Jennifer Owen, Gracie Nichols and Colton Riley of Joshua FFA; and Kirsten Tanner of Venus FFA.
