The Keene Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free Business Expo, Health Fair and Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Leiske-Pultar Gymnasium on the campus of Southwestern Adventist University in Keene.

In it’s 17th year, Keene Chamber President Paul Gnadt said the free expo is a great opportunity for Keene area residents to introduce themselves to services in the area, meet and talk face-to-face with the business owners

Presented by Keene’s Type A and Type B boards, the event teams up with SWAU’s department of nursing to provide health screenings and Texas WorkForce Commission to provide job search information. 

There will also be free seminars on social security, basic finances, wills and trusts, vegetarian cooking and end of life planning:

• 11 a.m. — “Social Security.”

• 11:30 a.m. — “Wills and Trusts.”

• Noon — “End of Life Planning.”

• 12:30 p.m. — “Basic Retirement.”

• 1 p.m. — “Vegetarian Cooking.” 

There will be bounce houses and Miss Aimee’s Balloons for the kids, as well as a food court.
