Movie stars, cars shows, bounce houses and other activities on tap this weekend at Cleburne’s Montgomery Starter & Alternator equal fun for all ages during Antique Alley.

“Antique Alley’s already a big deal so we decided to coordinate with that to have a big event out here this weekend, which we think offers lots of family fun and something for everyone,” Montgomery Starter & Alternator owner Keith Montgomery said.

Actor Christopher Hensel will be on hand Friday, Saturday and Sunday to meet with fans.

Hensel played Jeb Stuart Duke on “The Dukes of Hazzard” and Captain California on “The Kid Super Power Hour With Shazam!” Hensel also appeared in “Hero High,” “The Renegade,” “My Therapist” and other TV shows and movies.

Hensel will offer photos and other memorabilia related to his shows for sale and said he also looks forward to visiting with fans and posing for pictures with them for free.

Hensel still acts but has since spread out into other areas including penning the screenplay for “A Texas Ghost Story” and other productions including several new ones in the works.

“Act, write, produce and direct,” Hensel said. “That way no one else can mess with my visions.”

Montgomery said he will have a General Lee car on site to enhance the ambiance.

“They’re trying to find an old, yellow dirt bike,” Hensel said. “Because that’s what I used to drive in the show.”

Hensel’s friend, stunt man Lance Turner, will be on hand Saturday and Sunday.

In addition to having worked as a stunt man on “The Dukes of Hazzard,” Turner worked stunts and/or stunt coordination duties on “The Karate Kid,” “The Fall Guy,” “Born in East L.A.” and other productions.

Actor Burton Gilliam will be on hand Saturday.

Gilliam played Lyle in “Blazing Saddles.” Some of his other credits include “Back to the Future Part III,” “Fletch,” “The A-Team,” “Knight Rider” and “The Dukes of Hazzard.”

Montgomery Starter & Alternator is at  2528 FM 3136.

Antique Alley, which initially included Cleburne and Grandview, began in 1999. The event, which occurs twice a year, has since grown to include Alvarado, Venus, Maypearl, Waxahachie and more.

At more than 30 miles in length, the event offers a wide range of items for sale, food and other activities.
