“A One Act Play Gone Wrong” will be portrayed on stage at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Wheat Middle School in the first Cleburne High School theater arts production of the year.
Lots of one liners and physical comedy will be performed by an ensemble of CHS thespians who have been working very hard to present a theatrical disaster. The one-night production is serving as a fundraiser for the CHS theater arts program.
The $10 admission price will go towards the costs of student participation in the Texas Thespian Festival from Nov. 21-23 at the Gaylord Texan.
“This is a portrayal of a drama teacher’s worst nightmare,” CHS theater arts teacher Keli Price said. “It’s a fast play and lots of fun. Our students have been working very hard in this production that has just gone ‘all wrong.’ Proceeds from admission will help our students with the cost of attending the Texas Thespian Festival. Participation in the festival is a great learning opportunity for our kids. Everyone from our program will be performing — that’s included in our expectations for those who will be going.”
Cast members include Abby Stevens, Antares Ewell, Jada Martinez, Giullia Conceicao, Anna Trew, Jaxton Hunt, Keaton Howe, Gavin Campbell, Takara Bailey, Makayla Osborn, Rebecca Colston, Jerrod Whitney, Cooper Madison, Megan Jessup, David Faulk, Malachi Hall, Erica Trammel, Elizabeth Peña and Anthony Sullivan.
