Camp Fire at CAC

Tammy King and Brandon Morris with the Children’s Advocacy Center of Johnson County spoke to fifth- and sixth-grade girls in Camp Fire Tesuya about CAC’s involvement in the criminal justice system and, more importantly, safety on the internet.

Morris and King discussed B4UClick, a resource for online safety education, and the traps exploiters use to gain access to adolescents.

After a tour of the center, the Camp Fire members donated items to the center that will be given to children who are forensically interviewed to help determine if the children have been physically or sexually abused.
