Jessica Williams of Godley, Texas, and Scott McDonald of Joshua, Texas, were joined in marriage at 11 a.m. May 14, 2011, at Godley United Methodist Church. Rudy Rudewick officiated the ceremony.
Jessica is the daughter of Richard and Marilyn Bruce of Meridian, Texas, and Scott is the son of Margurite and Bill McDonald.
The bride was given away by her father and carried a bouquet made by Jennifer Bass of Benbrook.
Matron of honor was Tammy Clements of Cleburne. Bridesmaids were Cynthia Baxter of Cleburne and Megan Giles of Godley. Flower girl was Addison Giles.
Best man was Patrick McDonald, brother of the groom, of Houston. Groomsman was Dan Malone of Houston.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. The bride and groom shared a special wedding dance to “I Do” by Clint Black and his wife.
The couple took a beach honeymoon to Clearwater, Fla.
