On Friday, Godley's Riley Davis committed to play football at Angelo State University in the fall.
Davis was a first-team all-district selection on both sides of the ball during his senior season with Godley and rushed for more than 1,200 yards.
Also committing on Friday was Alvarado's Dillon Bell, who committed to the United States Air Force Academy as a pole vaulter.
Bell placed second in the state last year and is ranked No. 4 in the national rankings this season.
