The first-team selections for the First Financial Bank All-County were announced at the team photo shoot on Wednesday.
The team was selected by the Times-Review, coaches’ nominations and all-district selections.
The selections were Cleburne senior Morgan Brown, Alvarado senior Brenna Hale, Godley senior Kasey Fairbrother, Godley senior Tara Goodloe, Keene senior Suzannie Bellu, Grandview senior Angie Hughes, Burleson senior Michaela McNealy and Burleson senior Sarah Gilbert.
Cleburne’s Brown was a first-team selection on the District 16-4A squad, and was an integral part of the Lady Jacket’s run back to the playoffs in 2009.
Despite missing the playoffs with the Lady Indians, Alvarado’s Brenna Hale was a first-team selection to the 12-3A team in her final year.
Fairbrother was named 15-2A’s co-libero of the year along with Keene’s Bellu, and Goodloe was a first-team selection on the 15-2A squad.
Hughes also made the first-team on the District 15-2A all district team.
McNealy was named 3-5A’s outstanding utility player of the year and Gilbert was a first-team selection on the District 3-5A all district team.
