The 2017 golf season came to an end for Cleburne in the Class 5A Region II girls tournament Monday and Tuesday as Cleburne’s Rachel Morton concluded her high school career with a 31st-place finish.

Garett Reband, of Cleburne, helped raise more than $1,000 in a “Birdies for Charity” program he is a part of with the American Junior Golf Association, and on Friday he presented a large portion of that money raised to Camp Sweeney.
