Two stages provide live entertainment

This year’s Springfest live entertainment will be held on two stages, with performances over three days.
Main Street Stage (Wright Plaza)
Friday, April 25
5:50-7 p.m. In His Hands
Kicking off 16 hours of live entertainment, both music and dance, is In His Hands. Preston, 18, Cameron, 17, and Landon, 13, are three brothers from Joshua who have sung in churches, festivals and private parties for eight years.
7-8:20 p.m. Jammers
The Jammers is a country and western band made up of three generations of a family.
8:20-9:40 p.m. Austin Cunningham
Austin Cunningham left his hometown, Garland, in 1986 to move to Nashville to pursue a career in music. His songs have been covered by numerous country artists, and he received the Johnny Mercer Award for Emerging American Songwriters in the early 2000s. He has performed in live shows from Texas to Virginia.
Saturday, April 26
9:50-11:10 a.m. Miss Tammy’s All Stars
Miss Tammy’s All-Star Co. will perform tumbling and cheer.
11:10 a.m. to noon Frances Lea Dance Studio II
The Frances Lea Dance Studio will perform clogging, jazz and swing.
Noon-12:30 p.m. ZZ Skippers
The Grandview ZZ Skippers, under the leadership of Tina Griffith, will perform jump rope routines.
12:30-1:50 p.m. Billy Cate and Chisholm Trail Cowboys
1:50-3:10 p.m. Solid Country
Solid Country, a father and son team, is made up of Lonnie Dean and Will Taylor. Their album is titled “Texas Honky Tonk Shuffles.”
3:10-4:30 p.m. Gotta Dance
Gotta Dance will be teaching the two-step and swing dances.
4:30-5:50 p.m. Crabby Grass Boys
The Crabby Grass boys perform a mix of bluegrass, country and folk styles. The trio is based in Austin and is well known on the Texas festival circuit. The group is composed of Alton Rex, guitarist and songwriter; Chico Opreza, mandolin player; and Chris Beirne, string players.
5:50-7:10 p.m. Little Bit Country, Little Bit Rock and Roll
7:10-9 p.m. Old School Band
Sunday, April 27
12:10-1:30 p.m. The Hightower Family
The bluegrass and country western group the Hightower Family plays on banjo, mandolin, four-string bass, guitar and autoharp.
1:30-2:50 p.m. Magnolia Rose Band
The contemporary Christian band is made up of Karen McGough, Stephanie Gow, Doug Peak, Larry Carrell, Kevin Edmundson, Ron McCranie, Ken Baysden, James Creel and Shawn DuMond.
2:50-4:10 p.m. Southern Charm
Southern Charm is a gospel group consisting of Kathy Fogarty, Karen Dominey and Diane Brown.
