Two Tenors to present concert
The Two Tenors, Barry Craft and Ben Owens, will present a concert at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Cleburne Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Craft, an international opera singer, and appears in concert clad in a tuxedo, while Owens, a singer, guitarist and song writer, appears in less formal attire.
During a concert, Craft performs classical and traditional sacred music, and Owens performs his own compositions. They will also perform duets together and accompany each other, Craft on piano and Owens on guitar.
Their touring schedule exceeds 100 concerts a year, including international engagements.

Eastern Heights to hold revival
Eastern Heights Church in Cleburne will conduct Revival Explosion with Ivan Tait Sunday through Wednesday.
Tait is “known for his exuberant personality and joyful approach to the Word,” according to a flier from the church.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday and at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
Nursery services are available, and the church is located at 1315 Grandview Hwy.

A sweet friend passed away last week after a three-year battle with cancer. In my mind, his death feels so premature. At 66 years old, it seems he had so much time left to do the Lord’s work. He was such a faithful servant of God, and I can’t imagine why it was his time to go when he impacted so many people for Christ.

Prayerful gathering
At 10 a.m. Wednesday, three young men walked out of TEAM School to start a prayer circle as part of national See You at the Pole event, which took place at several schools in Cleburne ISD.
They were admittedly nervous, but nearly 40 people arrived to back them up. -
