EX Ministries to speak at church
Emmanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church and the East Cleburne Ministerial Alliance will host G. Craig Lewis and EX Ministries at 7 p.m. Aug. 1 at Emmanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1111 Boone St. in Cleburne.
Lewis has been ministering to youth for more than 15 years.

College Heights hosts Boomerang Express VBS
“Boomerang Express,” a vacation Bible school held by College Heights Baptist Church, will be from 6:30-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
VBS is free and open to children from kindergarten through fifth grade.

Church announces Bible school plans
Preregistration for Henderson Street Baptist Church’s vacation Bible school, Truth Trek, will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Free food will be served.
The Bible school will take place 9 a.m. to noon from Aug. 3-7 and is open to children from 4 years old through sixth grade.
Transportation to all events is available for East Cleburne.

FUMC to hold
missions fundraiser
The First United Methodist mission team will have a spaghetti lunch fundraiser after the 10:50 a.m. Sunday service.
Proceeds will be used to purchase fans for senior citizens and school supplies to be distributed by Operation Blessing.
Free-will contributions will be accepted for the meal. Participants may also donate fans and school supplies.

Calvary Baptist to hold summer Bible event
Calvary Baptist Church in Cleburne will have Summer Bible Time from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday in the Family Life Center. The theme is Under the Big Top.
The event is open to children from infants through age 18.
In addition a class for adults, led by Dr. Carl Baugh of the Creation Evidence Museum in Glen Rose, will take place at 7 each evening.
Baugh will also speak at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Crossing the Red Sea
Grace Family Church announces “Crossing the Red Sea,” a re-enactment of the children of Israel’s crossing of the Red Sea to follow their God after Moses led them out of the bondage of Egypt.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Grace Family Church is located at 1109 U.S. 67 in Alvarado on the corner of U.S. 67 and Sunflower Lane across from the large, gray American Flat Glass building.

Food bank marks a year of benevolence
The year-old Grandview Food & Clothing Bank has something to do with Grandview Seventh-day Adventist Church. The church facilitates and sponsors the operation near the Interstate 35 Grandview city limits sign just north of Exit 16.
