Joshua church to host free health exposition
A free health exposition will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Joshua Adventist Church, located at 1912 Conveyor Drive in Joshua.
A variety of free health screening services will be provided, such as blood pressure and pulse, lung strength, Harvard step test, anti-stress massage, vision and hearing testing, hydrotherapy, how to eat an optimal diet, a computerized health age checkup and a kid’s corner.
Nurses and physicians will be among the volunteers. Free literature will be available on many topics.

Bennis to speak at New Heart Family Worship Center
Peter Bennis to speak at the 6:30 p.m. Sunday at New Heart Family Worship Center, 420 N. Anglin St. in Cleburne. Bennis is a member of Cleburne Bible Church and has been active in the church coaches’ outreach. He has been with Pinnacle Bank for more than 20 years and is now president.
Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m., morning Sunday worship service at 10:45 a.m., evening Sunday worship service at 6:30 p.m. and mid-week service at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

New minister named for Westhill COC
Jerry Nelson has joined the staff of the Westhill Church of Christ as senior minister.
He moved to Cleburne after having preached the past 10 years in the Houston area. Before that he served churches in central Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
He and his wife, Carolon, have three children.
Jeff Nelson is married to April and has two children, Ty and Ava. He travels nationally and internationally as a motivational speaker for children.
Their daughter, Mandy Nelson, is a youth minister for Belton Church of Christ and is a graduate student at Abilene Christian University.
Daughter Valerie Nelson attends college in the Houston area.
Jerry Nelson has served as a resource speaker for numerous ministry events stateside and short-term mission work internationally.
Nelson will preach on “The Voice of Faith” at Sunday’s service.

Mdlalose to speak at Southwest Family Church
Bishop Jeremiah Mdlalose, directing the Light for the Zulu Nation Ministry, will speak at Southwest Family Church at 6 p.m. Sunday.
Bro. Jeremiah will preach the Word of God and bring news of the progress being made in the Zulu Farming Project that is helping the Zulu people farm 12,114 fertile acres. The land was donated by King Zwelithini to aid in providing work for families and in providing food for the orphan ministries.
