New Life to perform at New Heart
New Life, a group from Atlanta, Ga., will perform a concert Sunday at the New Heart Family Worship Center in Cleburne.
There is no charge for the concert.
New Life is a Southern gospel group that has performed in and around the Atlanta area for more than 30 years.
It is composed of former Cleburnite Don Roye; his wife, Janice; their children, Missy, Mandy and Shane; and their son-in-law, Earl Cannon.
Sunday school takes place at 9:45 a.m., morning worship at 10:45, and evening worship is at 6. The church is located at 420 N. Anglin.

Blackberry Fellowship to hold Bible club
Blackberry Community Fellowship in Joshua will conduct a backyard Bible club from 10 a.m. to noon July 6-8 for children from 5 years of age through sixth grade.
The youth group from First Baptist Church in Wynnewood, Okla., will help with the event.

FUMC to present depression seminar
First United Methodist Church of Cleburne will present a depression seminar at 5 p.m. July 19 and July 26.
The seminar’s two sessions will be led by the Rev. Tony Campbell, a retired United Methodist minister who holds degrees in psychology and sociology. He has also studied at the Perkins School of Theology at SMU in Dallas and had clinical training at Methodist hospital in Dallas.
Campbell said his own experiences with depression and bipolar disorder add to his education to provide a special insight into the condition.
The seminar will present information on the condition and enable participants to learn better ways of thinking about depression, new ways to understand and help others, and reliable ways to feel better.
