Bettie Lyree Young

Services for Bettie Lyree Young, 76, of Rowlett, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, in the Calvary Baptist Church, 700 Woodard Ave., in Cleburne, Texas. The Rev. Charles Payne and Brother Eddy Carrell will officiate. Burial will be in Derden Cemetery.



Pallbearers will be Ivory Lee Dearing, Dave Peterson, Ben Dearing, John Dearing, Art Dearing, Bobby Manor and Cody Miller.



Bettie Lyree Young passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, in Rowlett, Texas. She was born Oct. 26, 1931, in Blum, Texas, to Robert Lee and Maude Esta Ince Johns. She married J.W. Young on Nov. 5, 1955, in Dallas, Texas.

Mrs. Young was a child care provider and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.



Bettie Young is survived by her son, Trennon Young and wife, Becky, of Stephenville, Texas; daughter, Lyree Gilbert and husband, Mike, of Rowlett; twin sister, Wanda Lee Manor of Forney, Texas; brother, Kenneth Johns; grandchildren, Zachary Young, Jordon Young, Charis Gilbert, Christian Gilbert, Calan Gilbert and Cathilyn Gilbert; and a number of nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Young, on July 15, 2007.



Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
