KEENE — Services for E.J. “Mac” McMurry, 91, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Keene Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Tony Torres and Pastor Peter Durichek will officiate. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mac passed away on Feb. 7, 2010, in Keene, Texas. He was born July 13, 1918, in Winnfield, La., to Add McMurry and Clara Belle Collins McMurry. Mac served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He was a retired Seventh-day Adventist pastor and a member of Cleburne First Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Mac was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bonnie McMurry of 60 years; seven brothers; and five sisters.
He is survived by his son, Mickey McMurry and wife, Kathie, of McLoud, Okla.; daughter, Cheryl Allgood and husband, Dean, of Keene; and grandchildren, Rodney McMurry, Jason McMurry, Michael Allgood and Rebecca Allgood.
Memorials may be made to the Texas Conference of SDA Evangelism at P.O. Box 800, Alvarado, TX 76009.
