Services for John Earl Pinkerton, 84, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. John Hall will officiate.
Burial will be at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
John Earl Pinkerton passed away Friday, June 13, 2014, in Fort Worth. He was born May 2, 1930, in Itasca to Luther Layafette and Ila Jean Sanderson Pinkerton. He married Janette Davis on Sept. 27, 1947.
Mr. Pinkerton was an electrician and a member of Field Street Baptist Church. His love for his family and friends will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his daughters, Sharon Kay Capps and husband, David, and Donna Roe and husband, Terry; son, Jackie Pinkerton and wife, Linda; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Lewis Pinkerton and wife, Dyne; sister-in-law, Billie Pinkerton; and numerous nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janette Pinkerton; daughter, Pamela Pinkerton; and brother, Luther Pinkerton.
