Rick Chatman, 57, of Rio Vista, Texas, died on Thursday, March 27, 2014, of a heart attack.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, April 6, 2014, at 6 p.m. at the Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse Grounds in Cleburne, Texas. Everyone is welcome.
Rick was the 1984 World Champion Bullfighter and PRCA Clown of the Year.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dee Wright of Fort Worth, Texas; stepmother, Charlotte Chatman of Fort Worth, Texas; uncles, Pete Chatman, Garry Chatman and Jim Chatman; and aunt, Madiee Thomas.
His two sons survive Rick in death, Cassidy, of Burleson, Texas, and Chance and wife, Katie, of Denton, Texas; two grandchildren, Logan and Bryson; his father, Buddy Chatman, and step-mother, LaDonna, of Lindale, Texas; sister, Dionne, and husband, Jerry Kitchens; niece, Jennifer Kitchens; ex-wife, Sheila Chatman; step-brother, Ron, and wife, Kathy Matson; step-sister, Janice, and husband, Bob Burkhart; step-sister, Cozette, and husband, John Blandford; step-sister, Colleen, and husband, Andy Waters; nieces and nephews, Russell Starr, Angela Matson, Christy Ward, Danny Matson, Jessica Blandford and Johnny Blandford; and numerous cousins, great-nieces and -nephews.
