Jack Louis Cannon

FOREST HILL — Jack Louis Cannon went home to be with our Lord on Monday, Nov. 26, 2007.



A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, with a rosary at 7 p.m., in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel, Fort Worth.



In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601-7633, or a charity of choice.



Jack was born Sept. 15, 1923, an only child, to Allie H. and Aubrey L. Cannon. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was the advertising director for Buddies & Winn Dixie Super Markets for 25 years. He retired to help his wife Julia in their florist business, from which they both retired.



Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved grandmother, Martha Francis Henderson; and his other grandparents.



He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Julia A.; his devoted children, daughter, Carol Ann McMahon, of Fort Worth; and son, Scott and wife, Debbie Cannon, of Cleburne. He was very proud to be called Grandpa by his grandson, John and wife, Meg Brockway, of Fort Worth; and his great-grandchildren, Hunter and Logan of Tennessee, and Ashley and Alyssia of Fort Worth.
