Jack “Jackie” Chapman
GRANDVIEW — Jack “Jackie” Chapman, 68, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at a local hospital.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2007, at the Church of Christ in Grandview with Mr. Buddy Fry officiating.
Burial: Grandview Cemetery.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2007, at Clayton Kay-Vaughan Funeral Home.
Jackie loved to sing and play the guitar. He started as a child singing in church. He was an auto mechanic for 50 years and 35 of those years were in Grandview. Jackie was also a pilot. He loved being with his family. He will sincerely be missed not only by his family but by all those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ella Mae Chapman.
Survivors: Wife of 21 years, Gloria Chapman; daughters, Elizabeth Moran and husband, Brad, of Grandview, Stephanie Phillips of Cleburne and Jennifer Choate and husband, Jeff, of Alvarado; grandchildren, Jacquelyn Choate and James Choate; brother, Llavan Chapman and wife, Jo Ann, of Burleson; sister, Rheba Bodiford and husband, Clayton, of Grandview and Barbara Peppers and husband, Carl, of Cleburne; and nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Helen Marie Dameron Gilliam, 80, of Cleburne, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2007. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Thursday at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2007, in the Cleburne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Gilliam was born Oct. 2, 1926, in Cleburne, Texas, to E.C. “Happy” and Hazel Clark Dameron. She worked for many years at Roof Drug Store. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Spearman, Texas, and a 50-year member of Petrolia Order of Eastern Star.
Helen Gilliam is survived by her son, Charles C. Gilliam and wife, Zsanell, of Joshua; daughter, Linda Sue Benson and husband, John, of Burleson, Texas; grandchildren, Kevin Benson and wife, Vladu, of Richmond, England, Chad Gilliam of Centerton, Ark., Jay McFarland and wife, Mandy, of Cleburne, J.D. McFarland and wife, Christy, of Cleburne; great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Ariel Benson, Hogan McFarland, Emily, Kalee and Gracie McFarland.

Service for Ronnie Dave Dickey, 65, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Rev. Greg Robinson will officiate. Interment will be in the Bono Cemetery.
Services for LaVera Vowell, 80, of Covington will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014, in Bethel Temple Assembly of God. Pastor Mike Mizell and Pastor Larry Vowell will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
