Mary Lee Cox

Graveside services for Mary Lee Cox, 94, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, in Rosehill Cemetery. Pastor Dominic Valero will officiate.

Mary L. Cox passed away Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, in Cleburne. She was born Feb. 16, 1912, in Maypearl, Texas, to Will and Donie Kiels Phillips. She married Homer Cox in 1953.

Mrs. Cox formerly worked as a seamtress for Dickson-Jenkins in Fort Worth for 27 years. She loved to crochet and working in her beautiful flower garden.

Mary L. Cox is survived by her husband, Homer Cox of Cleburne; a number of brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Jamia L. Miller

Services for Jamia L. Miller, 66, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Rev. Dan Burt will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George Ancira Jr., Bryan Ancira, Stephen Ancira, Craig Ireland, Dusty McLain and Barrett Thompson.

Jamia L. Miller passed away Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, in Cleburne. She was born April 15, 1940, in Cleburne to William and Alma Lou Patton Montgomery.

Ms. Miller was a telephone operator, formerly working for SW Bell and AT&T; for many years. She was a member of Henderson St. Baptist Church.

Jamia L. Miller is survived by her cousin, Marcia Strealey and husband, Don, of Cleburne; beloved pet, Toby; and other cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William David Montgomery on Feb. 15, 1954, and Alma Lou Montgomery on Sept. 21, 1981.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.

Lillian Helen Haverkorn

Services for Lillian Helen Haverkorn, 88, of Cleburne will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Greenacres Cemetery with Dr. Danny Crosby officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, at Rosser Funeral Home.

Mrs. Haverkorn was born on April 13, 1918, in Greenville, S.C., to Sloan Hawkins and Coney Frye and passed away Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, in Keene.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cleburne and a member of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Haverkorn Jr. of Cleburne; son, Thomas Haverkorn III and wife, Jane, of Minnesota; daughter, Sandra Manly and husband, Roy, of South Carolina; brother, Eugene Hawkins of South Carolina; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Margaret Crane

Graveside services for Margaret Crane, 88, of Keene, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, in the Keene Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be David Crane, Chuck Crane, Justin Crane, Heath Crane, Mike Whitehead, Kasey Maxwell and Kris Maxwell.

Margaret Crane passed away Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, in Ennis. She was born Nov. 11, 1918, in Keene to Noah and Emma Nelson Anderton. She married William M. Crane on April 13, 1935.

Mrs. Crane worked for many years at Brandom Kitchens in Keene and was a member of Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Margaret Crane is survived by her daughters, Margie Hefner and husband, Lloyd, of Ennis, Aurora Ross of Delta, Colo., and Gene Whitehead of Alvarado; sons, Charles Crane and wife, Pat, of Rendon and Karl Crane of Alvarado; sister, McKenzie Dey; step-daughters, Mable Nelson of Fairoaks, Calif., and Alice Schultz of Ring Gold, Ga.; step-son, William Crane of Abilene, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; a number of great- and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Virgil Reid; husband, William Maurice Crane; and son, Ernest Edward Crane.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
