Cleo Francis Alexander

Services for Cleo Francis Alexander, 92, of Keene, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, in the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church. Mr. Henry Reid will officiate. Burial will be in Keene Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dave Sinclair, Don Alexander, Jere Putnam, Jim Bailey, Jarrod Bailey and Bugger Putnam. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Turner, Harold Lindsey, Chad Aden and Carlos Nolasco.

Cleo Francis Alexander passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, in Cleburne. She was born Jan. 8, 1914, in Keene to Wallace Joel and Annie Prater Bradley. She married Dorris Alexander on Oct. 24, 1931. in Marietta, Okla.

Mrs. Alexander was a secretary and worked at numerous Seventh-day Adventist academies throughout the U.S. She was of the Seventh-day Adventist faith.

Cleo Francis Alexander is survived by her son, Bobby Joe Alexander and wife, Shirlene, of Riverside, Calif.; granddaughter, Teri Jo Alexander Aden and husband, Chad, of Keene; great-grandson, Alexander Jake Aden of Keene; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Misty Gayle Loven

Memorial services for Misty Gayle Loven, 39, of Alvarado, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, in the Calvary Baptist Church Chapel. Minister Jay Morris will officiate.

Misty Gayle Loven passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, in Alvarado. She was born Sept. 25, 1967, in Fort Worth to Jack and Carolyn Chapman Flynn.

Misty Loven is survived by her husband, Ken Loven of Cleburne; brother, Jerry Flynn of Cleburne; sisters, Shelly Scott of Cleburne, Cristy Anderson and husband, Kevin, of Witchita Falls, Gwen Whitney of Cleburne and Mamie Hicks of Cleburne; parents, Jack and Cathy Flynn of Cleburne; and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends, Janice Moore and Jeff Rollins.

Mary Lee Browder

Funeral services for Mary Lee Browder, 91, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, at St. Mark United Methodist Church. The Rev. Sally A. Fleming will officiate, assisted by Dr. David DenHartog. Burial will follow in the Rio Vista Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, at Rosser Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Tim Whitlock and grandsons, Dick Lee, Scott Browder, Jason Browder, Allen Browder, Matt Lee and Jon Lee.

Mary Lee Browder was born in Rio Vista, Texas, on Dec. 7, 1914, the daughter of William and Grace (Haley) Pendley. She passed away Oct. 4, 2006, in Cleburne. She married John Altee Browder on July 18, 1931.

Mrs. Browder was retired from retail sales but remained active in the community. She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church since 1929 where she was a member of the Seekers Class and Sarah Circle, serving on many committees. Mary Lee was a member of the Twilight Garden Club and was a Life Member of Texas PTA. She faithfully served as a member of Victory Circle and was a Life Member of the Texas Branch of the International Order of King’s Daughters and Sons.

Mary Lee Browder is survived by sons, Jim Browder and wife, Lanette, of White Bluff, Joe Browder and wife, Iris, and Jack Browder and wife, Sylvia, all of Cleburne; daughter, Betty Lee and husband, Richard, of Cleburne; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, John Browder; and sister, Nelle Chaney.

Memorials may be made to the Breadbasket at St. Mark United Methodist Church, 1109 W. Henderson, Cleburne, TX 76033.

Mildred “Mittie” Matthews

Services for Mildred “Mittie” Matthews, 72, of Joshua, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, at Faith Temple Church, 1029 N. Anglin, Cleburne. Pastor Carl Roye will officiate. Burial will be in Baker-Lain Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Paul Jacob Matthews, Cole Pearson Matthews, Blair Sims, Creg Sims, Creg Sims Jr. and Eric Sims.

Mildred “Mittie” Matthews passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, in Fort Worth. She was born Sep. 29, 1934, in Stamford, Texas, to Harry and Stella Fultz Stogner. She married Ronnie Matthews on July 10, 2002.

Mrs. Matthews was a nurse and a member of New Heart Family Worship Center.

Mildred “Mittie” Matthews is survived by her husband of two years, Ronnie Dale Matthews of Joshua; sons, Creg Sims and wife, Teresa, of Granbury, Gene Sims Jr. and Eric Sims, both of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Paul Jacob Matthews and wife, Allie, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; sister, Audine Bosher of Joshua; brother-in-law, Irving Sanders; grandchildren, Creg Sims Jr., Leigh Anne Sims, Blair Sims, Alisha Sims, Heather Atkinson, Meleaah Sims, Lacey Sims, Patricia Basset, Brent Sims and Machelle Matthews; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Leah Ruth Sanders.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
