Midge Burns, 81, passed away on Feb. 8, 2006, in Cleburne, Texas, after a short battle with cancer.
Midge Burns was born Jan. 7, 1925, in Delaware, Ohio, to Zella Mae and Charles Clark. She married William Burns on March 27, 1946, in Pomeroy, Ohio. She worked at Curtis-Wright in Cols, Ohio, upon graduation from high school and retired from Ranco Controls in Delaware, Ohio. Her favorite things were gardening, fishing and traveling with her bowling league and was an avid reader.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and respected friend. We will all miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and youngest brother.
She is survived by one sister and three brothers; son, William Burns Jr. of Ashley, Ohio; four daughters, Carole Mulligan and husband, Mark, of Cleburne, Debbie Matthaes and husband, Terry, of Ostrander, Ohio, Patty Henrichs and husband, Steve, of Coatsville, Ind., and Jeannie VanBibber of Coral Springs, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Eva Mae Teague
Services for Eva Mae Teague, 82, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, at the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Darrell Hightower will officiate.
Mrs. Teague passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, in Cleburne. She was born May 1, 1923, in Parker, Texas, to David Samuel Cryer and Lola Mae McKee.
Mrs. Teague was a retired nurses aid and worked at Colonial Manor Nursing Home for 20 years.
Eva Mae Teague is survived by two sons, Robert Teague of Cleburne and Tommy Teague of Cleburne; daughter, Tollie Newton and husband, Billy, of Houston; sister, Shirley Rodriguez of Cleburne; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Crosier-Pearson-Cleburne Funeral Home.

Burl E. Lawson
Services for Burl E. Lawson, 91, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Rev. Robert Graham will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Burl E. Lawson went to be with his Lord on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, in Cleburne. He was born March 7, 1914, in Hillsboro to James Monroe and Cora Etta Dark Lawson. He married Sarah Vaughan on May 17, 1934, in Covington. He was a member of the Field Street Baptist Church and was a past Master and member for over 60 years of the Nolands River Masonic Lodge No. 453 of Rio Vista. Mr. Lawson retired from the Santa Fe Railroad where he worked as an electrician for over 34 years.
Mr. Lawson is survived by one sister-in-law, Doris Vaughan Mills of Granbury; several nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Sarah Lawson and their only son, James E. Lawson.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.

Mary Christine Nichols
Mary Christine Nichols, 85, passed on in “true Texan style” tough as nails, with a heart of gold. She was born to Waymon Oscar Hall and Lydia Belle Bandy Hall on May 26, 1920, in Godley, Texas. She died on Feb. 7, 2006, in Grangeville, Idaho.
Mary Christine Hall graduated in 1938 from Godley High School. She then went on to Barber College in Fort Worth, Texas.
She married Lloyd Bentley Rawdon on Dec. 24, 1938, and had three wonderful children, Lloyd Ann Rawdon Fairchild, Harold Dwaine Rawdon and Glenda Naomi Rawdon. She married Richard D. Nichols in Midvale, Idaho, on Sept. 17, 1993.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Glenda Naomi; and Lloyd Bentley.
She is survived by her husband, Richard D. Nichols of Grangeville, Idaho; her two children and son-in-law, Lloyd Ann and David A Fairchild of Grangeville, Idaho, and Harold Dwaine of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; four stepchildren and their spouses, Bill and Susan Harding of Grangeville, Idaho, Doug and Cindy Nichols of Grangeville, Idaho, Dan and Candy Nichols of Caldwell, Idaho, and Greg and Karen Nichols of Caldwell, Idaho; as well as the Nichols’ extended family. All who were fortunate enough to meet and know her will miss her immensely.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, at the Midvale Church of Christ in Midvale, Idaho, with burial to follow at Eastside Cemetery in Midvale.
