KEENE — Funeral services for Ernest Elton Wetmore, 86, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Chapel with Pastor Benjie Leach officiating, assisted by Pastor Phil Robertson. Burial will follow in Keene Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at Rosser Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Wetmore, Chuck Ferrier, Aron Ferrier, Dustin Ferrier, Thomas Lewis and Ronnie Lackey.

Mr. Wetmore passed away Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, in Keene. He was born in Port Allegany, Penn., on Jan. 2, 1924, the son of Olive (Jack) and Elton Wetmore. Mr. Wetmore was retired as a driver with Little Debbie’s and was a member of Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Madeline Wetmore; daughters, Sandra Burton and Lori Wetmore; brother, Arthur Wetmore; and sister, Genevieve Logan.

Mr. Wetmore is survived by his daughters, Karen Ferrier and husband, Charles, of Keene, JoAnn Lackey and husband, Ronnie, of Cleburne, and Kimberly Lewis and husband, Tommy, of Keene; brothers, Kenneth and William Wetmore; sisters, Lillian Froelich and Rita Elsner; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
