— Graveside services for Dorothy Marie Fisher, 88, of Cleburne, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Rosehill Cemetery. Ricky Mears, Danny Fisher, Jimmy McDaniel, Terry Free, Glenn Skiles and Boyd Fisher will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Mears and Walter “Skeeter” McDaniels.
Dorothy was born April 29, 1921, to Huse Miller and Lillie Lee Sparks Paris. She married George Thomas Fisher in Cleburne on Dec. 23, 1939. She worked as a cake decorator for 10 years at the Winn Dixie in Cleburne and was of the Baptist faith.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and husband, George Thomas Fisher in 1965. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
Survivors include her children, Doris Jean Mears and husband, Clyde, of Cleburne, Billie Joyce Thomas of Cleburne, and Gary Thomas Fisher and wife, Ann, of Godley; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
