Services for Ruby Lake McClure, 93, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, in The Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Georges Creek Cemetery. There is no scheduled visitation.
Ruby Lake McClure passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, in Joshua. She was born Sept. 28, 1920, in Nemo to James Monroe and Hallie Alma Masters Russell. She married J.D. McClure on April 26, 1946, in Hillsboro and he preceded her in death on March 23, 1984.
Mrs. McClure studied cosmetology. She, along with her husband, owned and operated South Main Gulf Service Station for a number of years. She also worked at Texas Instruments and Consolidated Vulpee Aircraft Corporation in the bomber plant. She was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Lana S. Dalby and husband, Chip; grandsons, Jay D. Dalby and Justin C. Dalby; great-granddaughter, Chantel Dalby; brother, Charles F. Russell and wife, Mary; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Everret, Allen and Jimmie D. Russell; and a sister, Lula Kane.
