Services for Brenda Wells, 63, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Rev. Larry York will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Tollett, Dakota Wells, Garey Wylie, Jack Merrill, Glenn Bridges and Dale Grover. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wells passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2013, in Cleburne. She was born Nov. 3, 1950, in Cleburne to Raymon and Johnnie Burgess Strange. She married Charles Clement Wells on July 11, 1969, in Cleburne.
Mrs. Wells worked as an assistant teacher and full-time teacher with the Head Start program. She served for six years as a volunteer for the Plaza Theatre and was a member of Nolan River Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Wells of Cleburne; two sons, Christopher Wells and wife, Mary, of Cleburne and Tyson Wells of Las Vegas, N.M.; four grandchildren, Anthony and wife, Christina, Dakota, Gwen and Julia; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Anita Black of Houston, Deanna Grover and husband, Dale, of Carrollton and Janice Bridges and husband, Glenn, of Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
