Funeral services for Ruby Vera Cooper, 87, of Cleburne, Texas, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Corey Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Williams, Jeffrey Williams, Damon Cooper, Darrell Cooper, Luis Faillace, Anthony Cooper, Alex Cooper and Chandler Cooper.
Mrs. Cooper passed away Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, in Cleburne. She was born in Utila, Bay Islands, Honduras, in Central America, the daughter of Elizabeth (Diamond) and Ellis Cooper.
Mrs. Cooper was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Cleburne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Damon Cooper; brothers, Edlon, Victor, and Kester; and sisters, Hannah and Lula Belle.
Mrs. Cooper is survived by her sons, Damon Corrigan Cooper and wife, Cheryl, of Houston, Texas, Tom Cooper and wife, Hilda, of Wylie, Texas, Tony Cooper of Burleson, Texas, and Jeff Cooper and wife, Sherry, of Cleburne; daughters, Alana Sue Williams and husband, Jim, of Frisco, Texas and Elizabeth Duckworth and husband, Bobby, of Seattle, Wash.; sisters, Margaret Rose and husband, Eddie, of Mena, Ark., and Kitty Bush of Abbeville, La.; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
