Dorothy Nell Boen

 

Visitation for Dorothy Nell Boen, 83, of Godley will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.

Dorothy Nell Boen passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, in Cleburne. She was born Feb. 22, 1929, in Knox County to Frank and Myrtle Carter Callaway. She married Amos Anon Boen in 1945 in Godley. He preceded her in death in 1965. She was a member of Godley Church of Christ and was a sales clerk for K-Mart for more than 14 years.

Mrs. Boen is survived by her two grandchildren, Buffy Prestwood and husband, Mike, of Godley and Brandon Boen and wife, Sara, of Stephenville; brother, Melvin Callaway and wife, Geraldine, of Burleson; sister, Vera Anderson of Cleburne; great-grandchild, Granger Boen of Stephenville; daughter-in-law, Joann Randolph of Hillsboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Gary Dan Boen and Gerald Lynn Boen; and one brother, Gilbert Callaway.
