Services for Larry Wayne Hall, 65, of Rio Vista were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Rio Vista. The Rev. Tony Tawater and Jacky Mears officiated. Burial was in Baker-Lain Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Worlow, Cecil Dollar, Charles Welch, Cody Jones, Alex Nickell and Don Brown.
Larry passed away Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, in Fort Worth. He was born Nov. 30, 1946, in Cleburne to Melburn and Margie Fowler Hall. He married Yvonne Blackstock on Aug. 19, 1966, in Cleburne.
Larry served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was a retired machinist with the Santa Fe Railroad. Larry was also in law enforcement for 30 years and served as a deputy constable for Johnson County Precinct No. 1. He was a member of Nolans River Masonic Lodge No. 453 and a member and deacon of Lone Willow Baptist Church.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 45 years, Yvonne Hall of Rio Vista; three sons, Billy Hall and wife, Andrea, Roger Hall and wife, Lisa, and Keith Hall and wife, Susan; father, Odell Hall; grandchildren, Tyler, Dakota, Cheyenne, Kyle, Kyndal, Brady, Jake, Sam, Sydney, Tyler and Kristin; brothers, Ronnie Hall and wife, Lou Ann, and Mark Hall; sister, Krista Matthews and husband, Johnny; and numerous aunts, nephews, nieces and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Hall, and twin sons, Robert and Richard Hall.
