Nellie “Honey Nell” Andreas

On Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, our heavenly father opened his arms and called home our beloved Nellie “Honey Nell” Andreas.



Services for Nellie “Honey Nell” Andreas, 70, of Sherman, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Rev. George Townley will officiate. Burial will be in Midway Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Wigley, Keith Wigley, J.R. Andreas, Sam Bullard, Brian Thornton and Keith Moore.

Mrs. Andreas was born April 7, 1937, in Blum, Texas, to Ewell T. and Gladys Vera Briscoe Coburn. She married Julius Andreas on July 14, 1956, in Cleburne.



Mrs. Andreas was a homemaker and a member of Ida Baptist Church.



Blessed all the days of her life with her were her husband, Julius Andreas; son, Max Andreas; daughters Marsha Wigley and husband, Keith, Joyce Andreas, all of Sherman, Wanda Portnoy, of Iowa and Stephanie Cawvey and husband, Charley, also of Sherman; 10 grandchildren, Kevin, Keith, Alesha, Charity, Christopher, Brian, Timothy, Amber, Asia and J.R.; four great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Caleb, Aiden and Presley; three sisters, Mary, Wilma and Maxine; brother, J.T.; and a number of nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by her son, Marty Andreas, on May 1, 2004.



The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
