2/17 Precinct 1 magistrations

 

The following is a list of  magistrations performed by Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 Ronny McBroom.

 

Feb. 4

• Robert Charles Cole III, 23, of Mansfield, possession of marijuana, $500 bond.

• Michael Lee Baugh, 23, of Rio Vista, hindering apprehension, $5,000 bond.

• Amber Lynn Siddle, 26, of New Braunfels, failure to appear on Brazoria County charge of DWI with a child passenger, $20,000 bond. Surety withdrawal on the same charge, no bond. Resisting arrest and transport and driving while license invalid, bonds total $4,000.

• Nico Allen Antonio Cogdill, 22, of Cleburne, aggravated assault against a public servant, $30,000 bond.

• Larry Thomas Holt, 64, of Joshua, DWI 3rd or more, $10,000 bond. McBroom ordered an interlock device on Holt’s vehicle.

• Bryant Dalton Smith, 19, of Rio Vista, possession of K-2, $500 bond.

• Robert Allen Miller, 25, of Joshua, possession of dangerous drugs and obtaining a prescription by fraud, bonds total $6,000.

• Vincente Gonzalez Lorenzo, 32, of Cleburne, driving while license invalid with previous conviction, $1,000 bond.

• Johnny Marion Hardy, 48, of Alvarado, violation of the Clean Air Act by burning, $1,500 bond. 

• Juan Jesus Davila, 36, of Cleburne, motion to revoke on DWI 3rd or more, no bond. Assault family violence, $3,000 bond.

• Joshua Clinton Carr, 26, of Watauga, theft more than $1,500 with previous convictions and two counts of driving while license invalid with previous convictions, bonds total $22,000. Possession of a controlled substance, no bond.

• James Nelson Murray, 26, of Mansfield, unlawfully carrying a weapon, $1,000 bond.

• Rudy Vasquez, 21, of Alvarado, DWI, $1,000 bond.

• Dustin Ray Thompson, 28, of Keene, driving while license invalid with no insurance and previous conviction, $1,000 bond.

• James Andrew Roberson, 22, of Everman, theft $50 to $500, $5,000 bond.

• Robert Eugene Trussell, 55, of Cleburne, aggravated assault with serious bodily injury, $15,000 bond. McBroom issued an emergency protective order prohibiting Trussell from returning home for 61 days or being released from jail for 48 hours after posting bail.

• Roy William Reitz Jr., 54, of Godley, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. McBroom issued an emergency protective order prohibiting Reitz from returning home for 61 days or being released from jail for 48 hours after posting bail.

• Krista Marie Hubbard, 26, of Burleson, possession of marijuana, $500 bond.

• Johnathan Colt Skiles, 21, of Joshua, possession of marijuana, $500 bond.

• Jackie Wayne Reagor, 48, of Midlothian, revocation of supervision on a charge of burglary of a habitation, no bond.

• Joseph Paul Cox, 28, of Joshua, possession of a controlled substance and driving while license invalid with no insurance, bonds total $25,500. McBroom ordered Cox to undergo weekly drug testing.

• Bradley Ryan Lyles, 30, of Cleburne, DWI 2nd, $3,000 bond. McBroom ordered an interlock device on Lyles’ vehicle. 

• Ricardo Francisco Jaimes, 19, of Cleburne, theft of property by worthless check, $500.

 

Feb. 5

• Ruth Ellen Bullard, 36, of Cleburne, criminal trespass and theft with previous conviction, bonds total $5,500.

• Jennifer Ann Morgan, 31, of Rio Vista, interference with an emergency call, $1,000 bond.

• Matthew Ryan Lujan, 24, of Cleburne, furnishing alcohol to a minor and possession of marijuana, bonds total $1,500. Tarrant County charge of delivery of a controlled substance, no bond.

• Zachary Brian Parrish, 31, of Burleson, possession of dangerous drugs, DWI, duty upon striking a fixed object and accident involving damage, bonds total $4,000.

• Brandon Lyndell Houlton, 20, of Keene, possession of a controlled substance, $1,000 bond.

• Gregory Lamar Scott, 22, of Bedford, Bedford charge of theft, $1,500 bond.

• Alexander Simon Martinez, 25, of Joshua, DWI 2nd, $3,000 bond. McBroom ordered an interlock device on Martinez’s vehicle.

    Because of redistricting as required by the 2010 Census, Johnson County experienced some changes effective Jan. 1, said Patty Bourgeois, Johnson County Elections administrator. Primary election day hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters must vote at their precinct location. For information visit the Johnson County Election Office’s website at www.JohnsonCountyElections.com or call 817-556-6197.

    A robust breeze alleviated the heat somewhat Monday morning at Cleburne Memorial Cemetery, but also played pandemonium with the setting up of a memorial table for POW and MIA veterans. Wind tipped a vase holding a single rose shattering it on the pavement. A hastily retrieved replacement held out but at one point toppled causing water to spill inches shy of the public announcement speaker.

  • Candidates vie for Pct. 2, 3 seats

    County voters will weigh in on three Johnson County Commissioners Court seats up for election on Tuesday. In addition to the five-candidate Precinct 1 race, voters living in precincts 2 and 3 will also vote for the commissioner of their choice.

  • Primary could decide constables

    Ten candidates, all Republican, compete in their four respective precincts in the May 29 primary. With no Democratic opponents to face in November’s general election, the primary should decide the winner of all but one possible race.

  • Early voting numbers well short of ’08

    Early voting turnout in Johnson County’s Democratic and Republican primaries totaled 3,914 as of Friday morning. That total includes 309 votes in the Democratic Primary and 3,605 in the Republican Primary.
