10/2 Cleburne Police reports

The following is a list of arrests — except for minor traffic violations — based on public records at the Cleburne Police Department. Individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

September 21

1:15 a.m., Douglas and Chambers streets, traffic stop. Marcelo Andres Franco, 34, of Cleburne was taken into custody on four Cleburne warrants.

3:07 a.m., Granbury and Heard streets, traffic stop for failure to signal. Angel Hernandez, 26, of Cleburne was taken into custody on charges of public intoxication and failure to provide identification. Pedro Lagones, 23, of Cleburne was taken into custody on a charge of failure to provide identification.

September 22

11:10 a.m., Johnson County Adult Probation Center. Amanda Carol Martinez, 41, of Cleburne was taken into custody on a Johnson County warrant.

8:25 p.m., 500 block Franklin Street. Officer dispatched in reference to a man beating on the back door of a home not his own. Jose Ledezma, 17, of Cleburne was taken into custody on a charge of minor in consumption.

9:52 p.m., Willingham and Anglin streets, traffic stop for no helmet. Ronald Lippard, 38, of Joshua was taken into custody on three Alvarado warrants.

September 23

9:25 p.m., Elizabeth and Robinson streets. Police dispatched in reference to possible marijuana use. Luis Rodolfo, 25, of Cleburne was taken into custody on a charge of possession of marijuana.

September 24

2:54 p.m., 100 block Poindexter Street, traffic stop for expired registration sticker. Young Houston Hedges, 25, of Cleburne was taken into custody on three Cleburne warrants.

September 25

2:33 p.m., Johnson County Adult Probation Center. John Fredrick Walsh, 26, of Grandview was taken into custody on a Johnson County warrant for revocation of supervision.

3:19 p.m., 1800 block Ridgeway Drive, warrant service. Marc Andrew Laurents, 18, of Cleburne was taken into custody on a Cleburne warrant.

10:09 p.m., Anglin and McArthur streets. Police dispatched in reference to a loud, possibly intoxicated person throwing beer bottles. Danny Michael Dill, 27, of Cleburne was taken into custody on a charge of public intoxication.

September 26

1:15 p.m., Johnson County Adult Probation Center. Jonathan Earl Hall Jr., 20, of Cleburne was taken into custody on two Johnson County warrants.

4:00 p.m., Johnson County Adult Probation Center. Samuel Beltran, 23, of Cleburne was taken into custody on a Johnson County warrant.

5:35 p.m., Granbury and Wardville streets, traffic accident. John Wray Cleveland, 47, of Rio Vista was taken into custody on three Rio Vista warrants.

8:25 p.m., Westhill and Featherston streets, traffic accident. A sports utility vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed hit a tree, according to Cleburne Fire Department reports. Austin Taylor Tuley, 22, of Cleburne was taken into custody on a charge of DWI.

10:29 p.m., 100 block Huron Street, loud music. Efrain Tolentino, 36, of Cleburne was taken into custody on charges of evading detention and resisting arrest.

11:24 p.m., Brazos and Oak streets, traffic stop for driving on the wrong side of the road. Jose G. Galvan-Carrizales, 20, of Cleburne was taken into custody on charges of DWI and fleeing police.

September 27

1:57 a.m., 400 block West Wardville Street, noise complaint. Luis Miguel Flores, 20, of Cleburne was taken into custody on charges of possession of methamphetamine and a Bosque County warrant.

2:39 a.m., 2000 block North Main Street, fight in progress. Russell Wilbur Coon Jr., 28, of Joshua; Gary Eugene Bruner, 41, of Chico and Bradley Rex Grady, 29, of Hico were taken into custody on charges of public intoxication.

7:00 a.m., 600 block Walnut Street, traffic accident. Elliott James Ness, 26, of Benbrook was taken into custody on Cleburne and Euless warrants.

5:25 p.m., 1000 block Grand Avenue, traffic stop for displaying two inspection stickers. One sticker was found to have been altered to make it look current. Rusty Walker, 38, of Cleburne was taken into custody on a charge of displaying a fictitious registration sticker.

8:55 p.m., 300 block Northridge Drive, disturbance call. Asher Tarkio, 28, of Keene was taken into custody on a charge of public intoxication.

10:58 p.m., 300 block South Oran Avenue, traffic stop for failure to signal. Eric Curtis Hurst, 19, of Cleburne was taken into custody on a charge of possession of marijuana.

September 28

1:10 a.m., Katherine P. Raines and Main streets, traffic stop for speeding. Veronica Montalvo Sandoval, 27, of Fort Worth was taken into custody on three North Richland Hills warrants.

1:38 a.m., 2100 North Main Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop after a man nearly crashed his car. Michael Wayne Moore, 24, of Cleburne was taken into custody on a charge of DWI 2nd.

2:32 a.m., 1100 block East Henderson Street, suspicious vehicle. David Wayne Jessup, 40, of Venus was taken into custody on Fort Worth warrants. Timothy Lynn Jessup, 19, of Venus was taken into custody on a charge of minor in consumption.

3:04 a.m., 600 block Heard Street, warrant service. Hector Garcia, 18, of Cleburne was taken into custody on two Cleburne warrants.

3:21 a.m., 1300 block East Kilpatrick Street, disturbance call. Wayne Robert Barfield, 21, of Cleburne was taken into custody on a charge of unlawful restraint and one Cleburne and five Burleson warrants.

3:30 p.m., 800 block Granbury Street, disturbance call. Jason Paul Anderton, 24, of Cleburne was taken into custody on a charge of aggravated assault, family violence and a Texas parole violation warrant.

10:34 p.m., Anglin and Elizabeth streets, traffic stop for improper turn. Felipe Amaya, 27, of Cleburne was taken into custody on a charge of DWI. Abel Bemares, 23, of Cleburne was taken into custody on a charge of public intoxication.

All of the above people taken into custody were transported to the Johnson County Corrections Center unless otherwise noted.

    Texas Education Agency monitor Dr. Monte Geren recommended last month that Cleburne ISD raise its fund balance from $6,831,659 million as of Aug. 31 to $12 million and repeated that request in his most recent monitor report delivered to the school board Monday night.
