Workers with Dwight Mullen Construction took advantage of a break in the rain Tuesday morning to get busy on the first stages of a facelift for the building at 207 N. Mill St. Darrell Vineyard, one of the workers, said his crew was tearing out the upper wall of the building, down to the level of the awning. Once the demolition phase is complete, he said, workers will reframe the upper wall section and cover it with stucco. The building is occupied by Chinese Kung-Fu Kenpo Institute of Martial Arts. Vineyard said the building is owned by Dr. Joe R. Martin.
