Cleburne police arrested a Greenville man on a warrant charge on Friday then added a second charge a short time later.
An officer on patrol at 8:08 a.m. stopped to check on a vehicle parked at Don Moore Field. A computer check revealed that the driver, John Lee Hill, 40, had a warrant out of Camp County.
Police arrested Hill on the warrant and transported him to the Johnson County Law Enforcement Center. During processing, a meth pipe with a testable amount of methamphetamine still in it allegedly fell out of Hill’s boot. Police added possession of a controlled substance to the list of Hill’s charges.
Lost and found

Blame it on the train
A Tuesday morning wreck involving three vehicles resulted in minor injury to one driver. Police and firefighters responded at about 8 a.m. to Farm-to-Market Road 4. Traffic was waiting on a train that stopped while crossing the roadway. The driver of a Chevrolet pickup rear ended a Dodge Ram and pushed the Ram into a Chevrolet Cobalt. Rescue workers said one of the drivers went to an area hospital to be checked out for minor injuries. Police said the stopped train would probably continue blocking the road for a time as workers were checking the train for possible problems and repairs.
