Train hits stuck trailer; none hurt

A tractor-trailer trying to cross a railroad track was struck by a train at about 7:15 a.m. Tuesday at a railroad crossing on Mt. Carmel Road in Cleburne.

No one was injured, Cleburne police Sgt. Amy Knoll said.

“The accident was a result of the trailer being too low to go over the tracks, and it got stuck,” she said.

The driver exited the vehicle and tried to warn the operators of the oncoming train that the crossing was blocked, but the
