A man whose last known address is listed as Joshua joins nine other wanted fugitives on the Texas Department of Public Safety’s newly released Top 10 Most Wanted List.
Harold Monroe Sharp, 42, is wanted on state parole warrants for assault, evading arrest and possession of a firearm by a felon. Sharp is also wanted on outstanding warrants for traffic offenses in Venus. Sharp stands five feet, eight inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds.
Information about the suspects on the Top 10 lists comes from local law enforcement agencies, said Tela Mange, DPS chief of media relations. She did not have additional information about when or where the crimes Sharp is accused of occurred.
Texas Crime Stoppers will pay a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of any of the fugitives on the list. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 800-252-8477. The Crime Stoppers hotline is open 24 hours a day. Callers do not have to give their names.
All the listed fugitives should be considered armed and dangerous, said Col. Stan Clark, DPS interim director. Civilians should contact law enforcement and should never attempt to apprehend one of these fugitives by themselves, Clark said.
