The Cleburne ISD school board will review and probably repost its final financial report from the Texas Education Agency at its Monday meeting.
Dr. James Warlick, interim assistant superintendent of human resources, said he expects to present the report to the board at the meeting and post it on the district’s Web site after the meeting is over.
The report is the final word on an investigation that spanned almost two years and asked for repayment of more than $360,000 in district expenditures.
In May, the district responded to the TEA’s report, asking the agency to reconsider $166,000, supplying documentation that those funds were spent in accordance with federal title laws.
The agency’s final decision will be in the report.
The school board is also slated to consider approval for custodial bids and consider an out-of-district transfer fee.
A presentation of the projected revenue for 2008-09 is also expected.
Assistant Superintendent Mike Bailey will also present a construction report.
The meeting is at 6 p.m. at the district’s administration building 505 N. Ridgeway.
