Cleburne police arrested a woman on a charge of intoxication assault Thursday after she struck a man driving a motorcycle, according to reports.
The accident occurred about 7 p.m. in the 3100 block of North Main Street.
Rebel Dawn Ingram, 25, of Cleburne was traveling northbound driving a Dodge pickup when she struck a Harley-Davidson in front of her driven by Chris Williams, 21, of Burleson, according to reports.
The impact sent Williams end over end, and he landed in the middle turn lane, according to witness reports.
Williams, who was wearing a helmet at the time, walked from the turn lane to the shoulder of the road and lay down, according to reports.
A CareFlite ambulance transported Williams to Harris Methodist Fort Worth hospital in unknown condition.
Police arrested Ingram after she failed a sobriety test, according to reports.
Burning down the bike
Police issued a citation for burning without a permit to a homeowner in the 300 block of Bales Street on Wednesday after firefighters extinguished a blazing bicycle.
The man said he lost his temper and was angry at his stepson, according to reports. The man piled clothes and a BB gun onto his stepson’s bicycle and set the pile alight, according to reports.
