Sexual assault suspect sought

The Cleburne Police Department released a sketch of a suspect they are seeking in connection with an alleged sexual assault that occurred March 4. A female victim reported the incident. She told police she received a ride from an unknown white male who drove her to a Cleburne location and attacked her.

The woman described the man as about 30 years old, 5-9 and about 185 pounds. The man had short, dark hair and no facial hair, she said. The man drove a white, extended-cab pickup, which may have been a four-wheel drive Dodge.

Cleburne police urge anyone with information about the man to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-794-TIPS, or 1-800-295-LEAD. Callers do not have to give their name, and Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to caller identification. Crime Stoppers will pay an award up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of anyone committing a felony.
